Church of God of Prophecy is a part of a worldwide movement open to worshipers of all ages and backgrounds. The physical address of the Church's International Headquarters is 3720 Keith Street NW, Cleveland, TN 37312.
The All Nations Flag of CoGoP is an ensign to be displayed because of the truth (Psalm 60:4) The Scripture teaches that Jesus Christ is "the Truth" (John 14:6. The flag consistently communicates the mission and values across every context. The flag colors: Red, His Blood (Hebrews 9:14), Blue: His Truth (John 14:6), White: His Purity (Hebrews 12:14). The Purple Scepter, Star, And Crown: His Royalty And Kingship (Isaiah 9:6-7; Revelations 20:6) The Scepter symbolizes Jesus Christ's authority. The Star symbolizes the soon-coming King. The Crown symbolizes Christ's kingship and majesty.
We lead our congregation in worship, deepening the connection to God, understanding the teachings of Christ, and ultimately to a maturing vibrant faith.
We have a long, proud history of serving the people of Durham NC. Through the dedication of our leadership, members and volunteers, we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ as we connect with the community. There is a place for you at the Church of God of Prophecy.

Meet our Pastor
Bishop Jesse W. Harrison Sr. was married to the former Patti J. Lomax who went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2024. Our First Lady will truly be missed. Her gentle spirit made a tremendous impact on her local church and those she met.
They were married for 49 years. They have 2 children, 9 grandchildren (1 being deceased) and 4 great grandchildren. Bishop Harrison graduated from Shaw University with a degree in Religion and Philosophy, Suma Cum Laude. His first Pastorate was in Greensboro, NC at the Church of God of Prophecy on Florida Street in 1984. Afterwards he was appointed to Elizabethtown, NC to the Church of God of Prophecy from 1990-1995. Bishop Harrison was appointed to his current location at the Church of God of Prophecy on Dearborn Drive in Durham, August 1995. Bishop Harrison is a people person and is truly A Man After God's Own Heart!
